Terminamos con nuestro recital de "Cenia English" , con el uso de "will" y "going to" en la gramática del futuro.

WILL

Estructura

Afirmativa: el futuro con will se construye anteponiendo este verbo auxiliar al infinitivo del verbo principal sin to. La forma es la misma para todas las personas.

Ejemplo: to discover I will discover She will discover

Negativa: la forma negativa se construye colocando not entre will y el infinitivo del verbo sin to.

Ejemplo: Emma will not (won’t) be here next year.

Interrogativa: se construye colocando will al principio de la frase, seguido del sujeto y el infinitivo del verbo principal sin to.

Ejemplo: Will you come to the cinema with us?

Usos

El futuro con will se utiliza para hablar de:

- Decisiones que se toman mientras se habla.

Ejemplos: They say it’s a good film. I’ll go and see it tomorrow.

The window is open. Don’t worry, I’ll close it.

- Predicciones de carácter general.

Ejemplos: I’m sure it’ll snow next web.

You won’t like it here.

GOING TO

Estructura

Afirmativa: el futuro con going to se construye con el presente del verbo to be seguido de going to y el infinitivo del verbo principal.

Ejemplo: to solve I’m going to solve He’s going to solve

Negativa: la forma negativa se construye colocando not entre le presente del verbo to be y la estructura going to, que va seguida del infinitivo del verbo.

Ejemplos: I’m not going to to take a holiday in June.

They’re not going to buy a flat in Barcelona.

Interrogativa: se construye colocando la forma del verbo to be al principio de la frase, seguida del sujeto, la estructura going to y el infinitivo del verbo.

Ejemplos: Is he going to visit your friends in New York?

Are you going to see the latest Almodóvar film?

Usos

El futuro con going to se utiliza para hablar de:

- Intenciones y planes de futuro, una vez que se ha tomado una decisión.

Ejemplo: I’m going to look for a job next year.

- Predicciones basadas en indicios que se aprecian en el momento en el que se habla.

Ejemplo: Listen to the wind. Thre’s going to be a storm.
